Roles now start from a job title.

Settings → Roles & permissions has a row of job titles above the permission matrix: Dealer Principal, General Manager, Sales Manager, F&I Manager, Internet Manager, Inventory Merchandiser, Salesperson and Buyer. Click one and all twelve switches fill in the way that seat usually runs at an independent store.

They stay editable. A preset is a starting point, not a separate thing your store has to maintain — nothing saves until you read the matrix and press Save, and changing one switch afterwards is the expected thing to do, not a deviation. Nothing about which preset you picked is stored anywhere; the switches are yours from that moment.

New role takes a job title too, and fills in the name and the role it starts from as well as the switches, so a custom "Used-car manager" never exists for even a moment carrying a name that promises more than its permissions do.

Two things the screen tells you before you press Save. Only four of the twelve permissions are enforced across the product today — See front gross, See vehicle cost, Play call recordings and Delete records — so the picker names, in amber, exactly which of a job title's switches will take effect and which are still only a description. And the six built-in roles cannot be re-based, so applying a job title to Manager fills its switches but leaves it a Manager everywhere the flags aren't consulted; create your own role if you want both halves.

Nothing changed for any existing role. No permissions were altered anywhere — this adds a way to fill the matrix in, and only when somebody asks for it.

Speed to lead, without a human racing the clock.

Turn on Settings → AI Auto Responder and every new lead — website form, ADF, marketplace — gets a reply within seconds: thanking them, confirming the vehicle they asked about (with live matching inventory for context), offering to set a time to come in, and — when they mention financing — a real secure credit application link. Replies land in the contact's normal conversation thread and timeline, so your team sees every word.

Goes quiet? The responder follows up on your cadence (you pick how many times and how far apart). Replies from the customer end the sequence instantly, and any lead that moves past "contacted" belongs to its rep.

Asks for a person? The AI stands down, a task lands on the assigned rep, and the timeline records the handoff.

Guardrails are not optional: the per-store switch ships off, SMS never quotes prices or payments, nothing ever promises loan approval, and every text passes the same compliance gate as the rest of the platform — quiet hours (8pm–8am customer-local), opt-outs, DNC, and consent rules.

"What will you give me for mine?" now has a screen.

Dealership → Appraisals: a list of every worksheet with status filters (draft, offered, expired, purchased, declined) and a worksheet mirroring the appraisal screens dealers know:

• Vehicle — VIN decode fills the specs; everything stays editable.
• Books — manual book values (source, retail, wholesale, as-of).
• Recon estimate — itemize it line by line, or use the store average.
• Summary — target selling price − recon − packs − additional − target gross = appraisal value, live as you type and stored on every save.
• Purchase info — buyer, source, lienholder, payoff, price paid.
• Finalize Purchase — stocks the unit into inventory at purchase price + recon, links it back, and closes the customer's trade-in record.

Trade-ins get a Create appraisal action on the contact page, equity mining shows an Appraisal open → badge when a worksheet exists, and the store defaults (target gross pre-fill, recon average, offer validity days) live behind the Defaults button on the list.

Nobody should have to guess where a button is.

Help & FAQ now opens with How do I… — short task articles grouped Everyday, Inventory & lot, Reporting and Setup. Each one names what you'll end up with and the exact click path, and links straight into the Setting it belongs to. Search filters them as you type.

Below that: a full walkthrough per module — Inventory, Leads, Deal desk, Credit & F&I, Documents, Website and Genie. These are presenter scripts, step by step, written to be read aloud while somebody drives the screen. Use them for training a new hire or onboarding a new store.

Genie answers from the same material, so asking "how do I set holiday hours" in the assistant gets you the same steps the page shows.

Your lot paperwork now prints itself.

Window sticker — dealer branding, the vehicle in big type, the asking price (or your no-price label for call-for-price units), a spec grid, and your footer disclaimer. Hang tag — the mirror-hanger version: year, make, model, big price, stock and VIN tail. Buyers Guide — the verbatim FTC form (16 CFR 455), front and back, with the warranty selection from your settings already checked; limited-warranty stores get their labor/parts percentages, systems covered and duration filled in.

Check any rows on Dealership → Inventory and hit Print for stickers, tags or guides across the batch — or one click on a row prints that unit's window sticker. Settings → Inventory print controls how each template renders and holds your Print Packs: named document sets (Active inventory, Trade-in, Recon) that print together as one PDF.

Internal numbers stay internal: cost and pack never appear on any lot document — the print pipeline never even reads them.

Your lists just learned to answer questions.

Reports (in the sidebar) puts a report shell over Leads, Deals and Inventory: add any filter with + Filter (status, price ranges, dates, sources, call-for-price…), sort by any column, and read the summary strip — record count, average age, and the sum and average of every money column in the filtered set.

Like what you built? Save as names the view, optionally shares it with the team, and can make it your default. Views open as a table or tiles, Export CSV downloads the whole filtered set, and Print does what it says. Check rows for bulk actions — hand 50 leads to a rep in one shot, or send a batch of units to the window-sticker printer.

Schedule email on any saved view delivers it as a CSV attachment daily or weekly at your chosen hour; the report shows a banner while a schedule is live, and Reports → Schedules lists every schedule with on/off and a "created by me" filter.

Opening a record from a report carries the report with it — "3 of 66" with Prev/Next on the contact and deal pages, so working a list top to bottom no longer means bouncing back and forth.

Settings → Sales goals takes per-rep targets for the month — units, gross, appointments set, appointments shown — and a point value for each activity: call made, call connected, appointment set, appointment shown, credit app taken, unit sold.

Leads → Team gains a Goals & points section: every rep's month against their targets with progress bars, calls made (and connected), credit apps taken, units and gross — gross straight from the desk's own pricing snapshots, not a recomputation — and a points column when point values are defined.

The dashboard gets two new widgets, silent until points are configured: Sales points (the top five) and Top performer.

Points are informational only. Nothing is gated, paid, or punished on them — they exist to make Monday morning interesting.

Your dashboard is yours now.

Hit Edit on the home page and add widgets from a searchable, grouped catalog: Leads (sales funnel, lead sources, internet lead response time and contact rate, aging leads, appointments by user, steps to sale, workload), Deals (sales points, top performer, deal status by type, lender approval rates, sales last 13 months, gross by make and by purchase source), Inventory (gross by days in stock, fastest sellers) and Misc (needs attention — every nonzero counter in one card).

Each card is a live chart — bars, lines, donuts, stat tiles or small tables — in a color palette built for readability in light and dark and for color-blind viewers. Remove and reorder anytime; your layout is your own. Gross-profit widgets show store money and are owner/admin-only. Lost Reasons and Be-Back Reasons ship with an honest "not recorded" state until loss-reason capture lands.

Every vehicle page used to end with the same sentence, hardcoded:

Advertised price excludes tax, title, license, and dealer documentation fees.

Nobody configured that. It was a factual claim about your pricing, shipped as a constant, on every dealer's website.

Dealership → Advertised pricing now asks the question once, and your answer drives:

• the disclosure on every vehicle page and in your site footer, in English and Spanish
• an itemized fee block under the price
• the payment estimator, which previously financed the sticker price alone and so quoted every payment low by your doc fee
• what goes in the price column of each marketplace feed, with a per-channel override for the ones that require an all-in price

Until you answer, nothing new is published: the site makes no claim about dealer fees in either direction and points shoppers at you for an out-the-door number. Your marketplace prices do not move unless you say they should.

Dealers on another website vendor could capture leads with the embeddable lead form, but not credit applications. Now they can.

Settings → Integrations → Web lead capture → your endpoint has a new "Credit application for your website" card. Pick:

• Form type — short (quick pre-qualification, no SSN) or full (continues straight into the secure, encrypted application)
• Theme — light or dark, to match the host site
• Lead source — stamped on the contact so ROI reporting attributes it

and copy either a standalone URL or an iframe snippet. A live preview shows exactly what visitors will see.

The iframe honours the endpoint's allowed-origins whitelist server-side: on an unlisted domain, visitors see a clear "this website isn't authorized" page instead of the form. Submissions create a credit application and a contact, land on the rep's plate as a follow-up task, and fire your new-lead notification routing like every other website lead.
