Synthflow alternatives for agencies (after September 2026)

Short answer: On September 15, 2026, Synthflow removed in-product reselling through Stripe: subaccounts lost their Plan & Billing pages, custom pricing plans were removed and connected Stripe accounts were disconnected, so customer subscriptions collected through Synthflow stopped working. Subaccounts, branding and custom domains still work, and its pricing page lists enterprise contracts from $30,000 a year. If you want client billing inside the platform again, look at Lead Friendly (Agency plan plus white-label suite; clients pay into your own Stripe account), Autocalls (Agency White Label at $419 a month, your own Stripe), VoiceAIWrapper on top of Vapi or Retell (from $79 a month for five client accounts), Stammer (client wallets at prices you set) or HighLevel's SaaS Mode. Staying on Synthflow and billing from your own Stripe is also a valid choice.

What changed on September 15, 2026

Synthflow's documentation lists what was removed, what still works, and what agencies now handle themselves.

  • Removed: the Plan & Billing and Usage pages in subaccount settings, the Pricing Plans screen for partners, and the Stripe connection used for reselling. Customer subscriptions collected through Synthflow stopped, and so did automatic minute top-ups.
  • Still working: subaccounts, permissions and branding, custom domains, and the parent account's minute pool and Synthflow subscription.
  • Now on the agency: recreate billing in your own Stripe account or another billing system, cap each subaccount with Synthflow's Limits and Capabilities controls, track usage through the Subaccounts API, post-call webhooks or the Calls API, invoice overages outside Synthflow, and reset each subaccount's minutes used through the API when a billing cycle starts.

What to look for in a replacement

  • Client billing inside the platform, paid into your own Stripe account, so a failed card shows up where you manage the client.
  • White-label on your own domain, with your logo on the portal and in emails.
  • Per-client limits, so one client cannot use the minutes you bought for ten.
  • A per-minute cost you can mark up, with the language model, the voice and the phone line either included or clearly priced.
  • Somewhere for the call data to live: a CRM behind the agent, or one you still have to provide for each client.
  • Calling-rule checks before outbound calls. Your clients carry the liability for consent and do-not-call, and they will ask what the platform checks.

The math for ten clients at 300 minutes each

A rough monthly platform cost for an agency with ten clients averaging 300 AI minutes each (3,000 minutes), before phone numbers and carrier fees, which most of these platforms bill separately:

  • Autocalls Agency White Label: $419, because the 3,500 included minutes cover it. The lowest figure here for raw minutes.
  • Lead Friendly Agency plus the white-label suite: $199 + $99 + 2,400 minutes at $0.12 = $586. That includes a CRM and the calling-rule checks for every client.
  • Stammer Pro White Label: $99 plus $330–$510 in voice minutes, depending on the model, for $429–$609.
  • VoiceAIWrapper Growth on Retell: $154 for the wrapper with ten client accounts, plus $210–$930 on Retell.
  • HighLevel Agency Pro with AI Employee Unlimited for each client: $1,467 plus phone charges. That includes the full agency suite: funnels, sites and email.

The cheapest line is not the whole answer. What each client gets differs (a CRM, calling-rule checks, funnels), and so does the work you do per client. Run your own volume before you move anyone.

Staying on Synthflow

Staying is reasonable if you have a handful of clients, already invoice them yourself, and like Synthflow's flow builder. Its migration guide covers the new routine: bill from your own Stripe, cap each subaccount with Limits and Capabilities, and pull usage from the API or post-call webhooks every cycle. The cost is the reconciliation work that the removed feature used to do for you.

Moving clients to Lead Friendly

What moves easily: each agent's prompt and knowledge, the client's contacts, and their business details, and a Lead Friendly agent can draft itself from the client's website. What does not: Synthflow's visual flows. Lead Friendly has no canvas flow builder; logic is rebuilt as automation rules, which is quick for common flows such as qualify, book and text a follow-up, and slower for unusual branching. Phone numbers need their own plan: agree with both vendors how each client's published number moves before you switch.

How this comparison was made

Every competitor figure here comes from that vendor's own website, read on September 24, 2026: pricing pages and documentation. Where a vendor publishes nothing on a point, the table says so instead of guessing. Lead Friendly's figures are read from its pricing page. Frequently asked questions

Did Synthflow stop white-label?

No. In September 2026 its documentation says subaccounts, branding and custom domains still work. What it removed on September 15, 2026 was in-product reselling through Stripe: the subaccount plan and billing pages, custom pricing plans, and the Stripe connection that collected your clients' subscriptions.

What is the best Synthflow alternative for agencies?

It depends on what you resell. For AI voice plus a CRM and calling-rule checks for each client, Lead Friendly. For the lowest cost per minute with Stripe rebilling, Autocalls. For keeping Vapi or Retell underneath, VoiceAIWrapper. For a full agency suite with funnels and sites, HighLevel.

Can I still resell Synthflow?

Yes, but billing now happens outside Synthflow: you charge clients from your own Stripe or invoicing, cap their usage with Synthflow's limits, and track minutes through its API or webhooks.

How do agencies bill clients on Lead Friendly?

Agencies connect their own Stripe account with Stripe Connect and publish plans; clients subscribe and are charged on the agency's Stripe account. The Agency plan is $199 a month with 600 shared AI voice minutes, and the white-label suite adds $99 a month.

Is Synthflow still available to small agencies?

Its pricing page, read September 24, 2026, lists enterprise contracts starting at $30,000 a year. If you are below that size, ask Synthflow directly what it will offer you.
