Short answer: DealerVLO is the cheapest tool we found with a published price and named, opt-in feeds to all four marketplaces dealers ask about: $29 a month (as of October 2026) for CarGurus, Cars.com, AutoTrader and Facebook Marketplace together. AutoManager's $70-a-month website plan and autodealer.io's $49–$299-a-month tiers (as of October 2026) add Facebook and CarGurus feeds but skip or don't name AutoTrader and Cars.com, which both take inventory only through their own approved providers. Overfuel and vAuto name the widest marketplace lists but publish no price; both route to a sales form instead.

What a syndication tool costs when the price is public

Dealer inventory-feed tools come in two shapes: a line item inside a broader dealer management system or website plan, or a standalone syndication product sold on its own. Both kinds claim to push your inventory to marketplaces like CarGurus, Cars.com, AutoTrader and Facebook Marketplace — but only some of them say, on their own site, exactly which ones and at what price.

Four of the tools we reviewed publish an actual number. The rest send you to a sales form, which is its own data point: a tool with no public price is a tool you cannot budget for without a call.

Overfuel and vAuto are left off this chart because neither publishes a price; both direct visitors to a sales form instead (as of October 2026).

Which marketplaces each tool actually names

A vendor's homepage and its pricing page do not always agree on what a plan includes, so we read each tool's own pages for the exact marketplaces it names — not the generic "hundreds of sites" claims most of them also make.

Why most tools stop at two marketplaces

AutoTrader and Cars.com are the two hardest marketplaces to reach from a third-party tool, and the reason shows up right on vendor pages: autodealer.io states plainly that Cars.com and AutoTrader take inventory only through their own approved providers, so it does not offer either as a destination. Cars.com runs its intake through Inventory Command Center (ICC), a single aggregation point every provider — including Lead Friendly — has to go through rather than feeding Cars.com directly.

AutoTrader and vAuto are both Cox Automotive brands, which is worth noticing when a Cox-family tool's own page shows AutoTrader only as a "sister brand" rather than naming it as a feed destination: the connection between the two is organizational, not necessarily a documented data feed you can point to.

Where our own product fits, and where it doesn't

We build Lead Friendly, so we're not a neutral party here, and the honest answer is that we're a partial fit for this specific question. Lead Friendly pushes inventory to CarGurus automatically twice a day and to Cars.com through ICC, the same aggregation route every provider uses. It has no AutoTrader feed, and a Facebook Marketplace feed is built but not yet live for any dealer.

If AutoTrader or Facebook Marketplace today, not later, is the requirement, DealerVLO's named feed to both is the closer match from this list. Current Lead Friendly plans are at /pricing.

How to pick, by what you actually need live today

  1. 1

List the marketplaces you currently pay to advertise on

Match that list against the table above before looking at price. A $29 tool that doesn't reach the one marketplace you need is not cheaper than a $70 tool that does.

  2. 2

If AutoTrader is on your list, plan for a Cox-approved route

AutoTrader and Cars.com both restrict intake to approved providers. Ask the marketplace directly for its current approved-provider list rather than trusting a vendor's claim that it reaches AutoTrader.

  3. 3

If Facebook Marketplace is the main ask, compare the named tools first

AutoManager's Auto-Posting Utility and DealerVLO's Marketplace-format feed are both named, lower-cost options; tools that only show a Facebook logo without describing the feed may not actually post there.

  4. 4

Confirm the marketplace's own listing fee is separate from the software fee

DealerVLO states this explicitly on its own page. A syndication tool's monthly price rarely includes what CarGurus, Cars.com or AutoTrader themselves charge for a listing.

  5. 5

Re-check every vendor's current page before you sign

Plans, prices and which marketplaces a feed covers change without much notice. Treat everything above as a snapshot from October 2026, not a binding quote.

Frequently asked questions

What is the cheapest dealer inventory syndication software?

Of the tools whose pricing pages we could open this run, DealerVLO is the cheapest at a flat $29 a month (as of October 2026), and it is also the only one with named, opt-in feeds to all four marketplaces — CarGurus, Cars.com, AutoTrader and Facebook Marketplace — rather than just one or two.

Is there one tool that sends inventory to CarGurus, AutoTrader and Facebook Marketplace at once?

DealerVLO is the only tool in this review that names all three (plus Cars.com) on its own page, each as an opt-in feed tagged with the Dealer ID that marketplace assigns you. Other tools we checked reach at most two of the three by name.

Why don't more syndication tools feed AutoTrader directly?

AutoTrader and Cars.com both take dealer inventory only through their own approved feed providers rather than from any third-party tool that asks. autodealer.io's own site states this directly, which is why its plans name a CarGurus export and a Facebook ad feed but not AutoTrader or Cars.com.

Does Lead Friendly send inventory to AutoTrader or Facebook Marketplace?

Not yet. Lead Friendly pushes to CarGurus twice a day and to Cars.com through ICC, but it has no AutoTrader feed, and its Facebook Marketplace feed is built but not live for any dealer yet. See /integrations/cargurus and /integrations/facebook-marketplace for the current status.

What does Overfuel or vAuto charge for inventory syndication?

Neither publishes a price on its own site as of October 2026. Both route a visitor straight to a demo or sales-contact form, so budgeting for either means getting a quote first — verify directly with the vendor before comparing it to the published-price tools above.
