Dealer lead sources and Lead Friendly

LiveCarrying real traffic for customers today. Status checked October 14, 2026.

Lead Friendly takes leads three ways: an ADF email address for marketplaces that only send mail, an ADF URL for those that post, and a form endpoint for your own website. Each becomes a contact. A phone number is the one hard requirement; a lead without one is recorded as failed.

What moves

Into Lead Friendly
Marketplace and website leads as contacts, with the source recorded.

How it works

  1. Give each marketplace the ADF email address or URL Lead Friendly provides for your store.
  2. Post website forms to your store’s form endpoint, which accepts only your own site origins.
  3. Each lead creates or updates a contact and records where it came from.
  4. The follow-up sequence and the AI agent pick it up, with consent and quiet-hour checks applied before any send.

What it does not do

  • No phone number, no contact. The lead is logged as failed so you can see it.
  • Lead Friendly receives leads here. It does not write them to another CRM.

What to do today

If a marketplace only offers an email address, use the ADF email route. If it offers an HTTP URL, use the ADF URL.

Frequently asked questions

Which marketplaces can send leads?

Any that sends the ADF format to an email address or an HTTP URL, which covers CarGurus, Cars.com and most others. Check the lead settings in each marketplace dashboard for the format option.

Is the website form public?

The key sits in the page, as it must. The endpoint only accepts posts from the origins you configure, so a form on another site is rejected.
