Lead Friendly vs DealersCloud

DealersCloud is a cloud dealer management system for independent dealers: inventory, CRM, deal desking, accounting and a dealer website in one subscription, with an AI module on top. Lead Friendly is not a DMS. It is the AI phone agent, CRM, photos, VIN-to-listing, desk and website around the front of the store, at a published price.

Everything about DealersCloud below was read from its own website on October 18, 2026. We list where DealersCloud is the better choice, not just where we are. Verify on their site before you buy; vendors change plans without telling anyone.

Bottom line

These are different kinds of product, so the deciding question is whether you want to replace your DMS. If you want one system for the books, the deal and the website, DealersCloud is the more complete choice: it has accounting, buy-here-pay-here and RouteOne and Dealertrack submission, none of which Lead Friendly does, and it says there is no long-term contract. If you keep your DMS and the leak is the phone, the follow-up or the listing photo, Lead Friendly is the narrower add-on and the price is on the page.

Feature comparison

“Not described” means the pages we opened do not mention it, not that the product cannot do it. Lead Friendly's side is checked against our own product and our integrations page.

Frequently asked questions

Is Lead Friendly a DealersCloud alternative?

Only for part of what DealersCloud sells. DealersCloud is a dealer management system, so it holds your accounting, your deals and your books; Lead Friendly does none of the accounting and no buy-here-pay-here note servicing. Where they overlap is the front of the store: both have a CRM, deal desking, a dealer website and an AI that answers leads. If you are shopping for a DMS, DealersCloud is in that category and we are not. If you already have one and the leak is the phone, the follow-up and the listing photo, Lead Friendly is the narrower product.

Does DealersCloud have an AI that answers the phone?

As of October 2026, yes, as an add-on. Its pages describe an AI Receptionist that picks up the calls your team can’t, and an AI Employee that answers new leads by text, email and web chat around the clock. Its pricing page lists both under a premium DealersAI add-on priced for your store; only the description generator, CRM re-engagement and the chatbot come with every plan. Its pages do not describe the AI placing outbound calls to new leads; Lead Friendly’s agent answers and also calls website-form leads back inside legal calling hours when the shopper gave call consent.

How much does DealersCloud cost?

DealersCloud does not publish a dollar figure. Its pricing page and FAQ say the price is customized to dealership size, billed monthly, with unlimited users, no per-seat licenses and no long-term contract, and that advanced DealersAI modules and buy-here-pay-here are quoted separately (read October 2026; verify on their site). The useful question for a quote is which modules the number includes. Lead Friendly publishes its dealer price: $349 a month ($279 a month on annual) plus a one-time $500 setup fee, with 1,800 AI voice minutes and 2,500 texts included.

Do I have to switch my DMS to get DealersCloud’s AI?

Its own FAQ says DealersAI “runs alongside whatever DMS a dealership uses today”, so the AI can be bought without moving your deals and books. The same is true of Lead Friendly, which keeps its own CRM and does not write to any DMS. Whichever AI you pick, test it on your own calls for a week before deciding whether a DMS migration belongs in the same decision.

Should a small lot buy DealersCloud, or add Lead Friendly to its DMS?

If you want one system for the books, the deal and the website, and you are ready to replace the software that holds them, DealersCloud is the more complete answer: it has accounting, buy-here-pay-here, and credit applications through RouteOne and Dealertrack, which Lead Friendly does not. If your DMS stays and the leak is unanswered calls, web leads nobody rings back and slow listings, start a Lead Friendly trial and let the agent take real calls.

Measure first: how fast does your store answer a new lead?
