Lead Friendly vs Kenect

Kenect is a texting, reviews and payments platform for dealerships, with an AI receptionist and a service AI added on top, and it publishes no price. Lead Friendly puts the phone agent inside its own dealer CRM, with inventory, photos, a desk and a website, at a published price on month-to-month terms. It does not replace Kenect's review management or text-to-pay.

Everything about Kenect below was read from its own website on October 31, 2026, and each row says which side does what. Verify on their site before you buy; vendors change plans without telling anyone.

Where Lead Friendly wins against Kenect

The CRM, desk and inventory are included

Leads, calls, texts and deals live in Lead Friendly’s own CRM, and the dealer plan adds inventory, a desk with four-square and an F&I menu, and a website built for you. Kenect’s pages describe messaging, reviews and payments, and connect to the CRM and DMS you already run.

The AI calls new leads back

A website-form lead is called automatically inside legal calling hours when the shopper gave call consent. Kenect’s Voice AI is described around answering and routing calls; calling leads back is not described.

Published price, month to month

Lead Friendly for Dealers is $349 a month plus a one-time $500 setup fee, month to month. Kenect publishes no price, and its Terms set a default twelve-month term that renews automatically.

Bottom line

Kenect is deep on texting, reviews, text-to-pay and DMS connections, with a service AI and a large reported base of dealers; it publishes no price and its Terms default to a twelve-month renewing term. Lead Friendly is the CRM, desk, inventory and the AI phone agent that calls new leads back, and it has no review monitoring, no text-to-pay and no DMS write-back. Pick Kenect if reviews, payments and service reminders across your DMS are the job; pick Lead Friendly if missed calls and slow lead response at an independent lot are.

Frequently asked questions

Is Lead Friendly a Kenect alternative?

For the AI that answers your calls and works your leads, yes. For reviews and text-to-pay, no. Kenect started as a texting and reputation platform and added an AI receptionist and a service AI; Lead Friendly started as the phone agent and is also the CRM, inventory, photos, desk and website. If your problem is reviews, payments by text and service reminders across a DMS you are keeping, Kenect is built for that. If it is missed calls and slow lead response at an independent lot, Lead Friendly is.

How much does Kenect cost?

As of October 2026 Kenect does not publish a price on the pages we opened; the call to action is a demo. Its Terms of Service say that unless your Enrollment Form says otherwise the initial term is twelve months, renewing automatically for equal periods unless you give written notice at least thirty days before the term ends, with subscription fees non-refundable (verify on their site). Ask for the monthly figure per rooftop, what each product costs, and the exit terms. Lead Friendly publishes its dealer price: $349 a month ($279 a month on annual) plus a one-time $500 setup fee, with 1,800 AI voice minutes and 2,500 texts included, month to month.

Can I use Lead Friendly and Kenect together?

Yes, and many stores will. Keep Kenect for review monitoring and text-to-pay while your term runs, and let Lead Friendly answer overflow and after-hours calls and call new web leads back. Send every Lead Friendly call and lead to your CRM as an ADF lead so your team works one list. Both text customers, so make sure each customer hears from one system, not both.

How should I read Kenect’s call-handling figures?

They are vendor-reported and they differ by page. Kenect’s Voice AI page cites 20% of calls handled without human intervention, and its llms.txt cites 90% of calls handled without staff involvement; neither page says how a call is counted. Ask any vendor, including us, what counts as handled, over which calls, and for which store before you use the number to forecast savings.

Does Kenect do outbound calling to new leads?

Not on the pages we opened. Its Voice AI is described as answering, routing and booking calls, and its Engage AI as reminders, recall campaigns, CSI surveys and follow-ups. If you want the AI to phone a new web lead inside legal calling hours, ask Kenect whether that is a product today. Lead Friendly does it automatically for website-form leads when the shopper gave call consent.

Switching from Kenect

  1. Start on Lead Friendly for Dealers. The one-time $500 setup is the work: we load your inventory, wire your feeds and your lead sources, and build and tune the agent with you.
  2. Keep Kenect for reviews and text-to-pay until your term ends, and point after-hours and overflow calls at the Lead Friendly agent. Turn on the CRM lead email so every call lands in your CRM.
  3. Check your Enrollment Form for the term. By default Kenect’s Terms renew automatically unless you give written notice at least thirty days before the term ends, so diarise that date.
