Lead Friendly vs Spyne
Spyne is a vehicle-media and conversational-AI vendor: background-replaced photos, 360 tours, video walkthroughs and a phone-and-chat agent called Vini. Lead Friendly is a dealer store OS where the photo is one step between scanning a VIN and the car going live, next to the phone agent, CRM, desk and website, at a published price.
Everything about Spyne below was read from its own website on October 18, 2026. We list where Spyne is the better choice, not just where we are. Verify on their site before you buy; vendors change plans without telling anyone.
Bottom line
If vehicle media is the whole job, Spyne is the specialist: it lists plate masking, interior and exterior tours, produced video and an API into your existing stack, and Lead Friendly does not match that depth. If you want photos as part of getting a car live and answering the calls and leads it brings, Lead Friendly covers the phone, CRM, desk and website in one subscription, with the price on the page.
Feature comparison
“Not described” means the pages we opened do not mention it, not that the product cannot do it. Lead Friendly's side is checked against our own product and our integrations page.
| Capability | Lead Friendly | Spyne |
|---|---|---|
What the product fundamentally is | A dealership store OS: AI phone agent and CRM, plus inventory photos, VIN-to-listing, desking, F&I and an optional built website. Not a DMS. | An AI merchandising platform: a photo and video studio, 360 car tours and a conversational AI agent (Vini) for dealerships, marketplaces and partners. |
Background replacement on vehicle photos | YesOne tap from a phone photo to a white background or a themed scene; the car itself is cut out and not altered. AI photo background work is billed from your wallet at $0.05 a photo | YesStudio backgrounds and logos from a smartphone app, web upload or API; lists “100+ Custom Backgrounds” |
Automatic license-plate masking | NoNo automatic license-plate masking | YesListed on its LITE plan |
360 spin and video | YesA drag-to-rotate 360° spin built from a phone walkaround video or an ordered photo set, plus a walkaround video link on the vehicle page; cleaning the background on spin frames is billed per photo like any other | YesCar Tour builds a 360 spin from a smartphone walk-around, with interiors via a Ricoh Theta camera; cinematic video walkthroughs and a 3D showcase are on its PRO plan |
Photo-to-listing flow From scanning a VIN to a live vehicle page | YesPhone-first VIN scan: decode, price and photos go live on your site and push to CarGurus | Its home page says “Go from acquisition to live listing instantly” and speaks of “instant listings”; the plans list “Smart Match for Instant Inventory Matching” and connect to your site, DMS and inventory system through a console and API. A scan-a-VIN step is not described |
Marketplace listings | PartialCarGurus is pushed twice a day; Cars.com (through ICC) and Google vehicle listings go by feed; Facebook Marketplace is in progress and nothing is posted there; no Autotrader feed | Its PRO plan lists publishing “across IMS, Marketplaces, Social Media”; which marketplaces is not named |
AI answering inbound calls | YesAnswers 24/7 (sales, service and after-hours), qualifies, books test drives and transfers to your staff | YesVini AI answers calls and messages 24/7 across phone, chat and email, handles overflow, qualifies and routes leads, and covers sales, service and parts |
AI calling new leads back | YesA website-form lead is called automatically inside legal calling hours when the shopper gave call consent; marketplace (ADF) leads are called by an automation you switch on and set to run automatically | Personalized outreach and re-engagement of cold leads are described; outbound phone calls are not specified |
Own CRM, desking and deal paperwork | YesFour-square, F&I menu, lender program checks, Reg Z disclosures and an e-signed deal jacket | No CRM, desk or lender product on the pages we opened; Vini says it “Integrates with CRM, DMS, and IMS” without naming them |
Dealership website | YesCustom build, owned outright, quoted per project | Not a product on the pages we opened; media plugs into the website you already have |
TCPA, do-not-call list and quiet-hours enforcement on outbound | YesQuiet hours, your do-not-call list and STOP opt-outs are enforced before any call or text leaves. Consent and National Do Not Call Registry checks stay yours, and federal and state do-not-call scrubbing of any list you upload is your obligation | Not described on the Vini page — ask how consent and quiet hours are handled |
Pricing | Published: $349 a month ($279 a month on annual) plus a one-time $500 setup fee, with 1,800 AI voice minutes and 2,500 texts included. Month to month; sales tax is extra. AI photo background work is billed from your wallet at $0.05 a photo. | Custom: two plans, LITE and PRO, priced by monthly inventory volume, number of rooftops and plan; “Talk To Sales”. No dollar figure on its pricing page. Its Car Tour page, under “What is the Cost of 360 Degree Car Photography Software?”, says plans “start at just $350 monthly” and lists Bronze, Silver, Gold and custom plans; it is not clear how those map to LITE and PRO — ask. |

Frequently asked questions
Is Lead Friendly a Spyne alternative?
For vehicle photos, partly. Spyne is a specialist in vehicle media, with plate masking, exterior and interior tours, video walkthroughs and an API, and Lead Friendly’s photo tool is one step in a flow that starts from scanning a VIN on your phone and ends with the car live on your site. For the conversational AI, Spyne’s Vini and Lead Friendly’s phone agent do similar jobs on inbound calls. Spyne is not a CRM, desk or website on the pages we read, and Lead Friendly is; that is the real difference in scope.
How much does Spyne cost?
As of October 2026 Spyne’s pricing page shows two plans, LITE and PRO, and no dollar figures; the price depends on monthly inventory volume, number of rooftops and the plan (verify on their site). A separate page for its 360 product, under the heading “What is the Cost of 360 Degree Car Photography Software?”, says plans “start at just $350 monthly” and lists Bronze, Silver, Gold and custom plans, which do not match the LITE and PRO plans on the pricing page. Lead Friendly’s dealer price is published: $349 a month ($279 a month on annual) plus a one-time $500 setup fee, with 1,800 AI voice minutes and 2,500 texts included, which includes the CRM and phone agent; AI photo background work is billed from your wallet at $0.05 a photo, on top of the plan.
Does Lead Friendly mask license plates or make video walkthroughs?
No. Lead Friendly cuts the car out and puts it on a white studio background or a themed scene, leaves the vehicle itself unaltered (the background work is billed from your wallet per photo), and does not mask plates automatically. It builds a drag-to-rotate 360° spin from a phone walkaround video or an ordered set of photos and shows a walkaround video link on the vehicle page, but it does not produce templated or narrated vehicle video. If plate masking or produced video is a requirement, Spyne lists both.
Does Spyne have an AI that answers the phone?
Yes. Vini AI is Spyne’s conversational agent: its page describes it answering calls and messages around the clock over phone, chat and email, managing call overflow, qualifying leads and handling service, parts and finance conversations, with call transcripts. It says it integrates with CRM, DMS and inventory systems without naming them, and it states no price or contract term. Lead Friendly’s agent also calls website-form leads back inside legal calling hours when the shopper gave call consent.
Can I use Spyne photos with Lead Friendly?
Yes, in principle: Lead Friendly’s inventory takes photos you upload, so media produced elsewhere can be attached to a vehicle. We have not tested a Spyne integration and do not claim one. Spyne describes publishing to your website, DMS and inventory system through its own console and API, so check with them which destination formats it supports.
