Lead Friendly vs TorQi
TorQi is a fully managed AI receptionist for independent and buy-here-pay-here dealers: it answers the calls the lot misses, captures the buyer and the trade, and sends your team a summary, from $1,500 a month plus a $2,000–$2,500 setup. Lead Friendly does the same phone job on top of the CRM you keep, sends callers and website leads into it as ADF once you add its lead email, and costs $349 a month plus a $500 setup, month to month.
Everything about TorQi below was read from its own website on November 4, 2026, and each row says which side does what. Verify on their site before you buy; vendors change plans without telling anyone.
Where Lead Friendly wins against TorQi
A fraction of the price
Lead Friendly for Dealers is $349 a month plus a one-time $500 setup, with 1,800 AI voice minutes. TorQi’s published dealer plans start at $1,500 a month plus $2,000–$2,500 setup, with 1,200 minutes.
Leads land in your CRM as ADF
Once you add your CRM’s lead email, each inbound call where the caller spoke and each website form lead is sent to it as ADF/XML, the format dealer CRMs import. TorQi starts with email or SMS summaries; a handoff into your DMS or CRM is scoped separately.
Month to month, cancel any time
Monthly billing stops at the end of the period you cancel in. TorQi says there is “no long-term contract to start”, and that its terms depend on the plan and setup scope, with some pricing including an initial commitment.
Bottom line
TorQi and Lead Friendly sell the same idea to the same dealer: answer every call, catch the buyer and the trade, never quote credit, and hand the lead to your people. TorQi runs the whole thing for you, reports weekly on the larger plans, and prices it like a managed service. Lead Friendly costs far less, sends callers and website leads into your CRM as ADF once you add its lead email, with no separate integration project, and bills month to month, but after the setup you run it yourself. Pick TorQi if you want someone else to own the agent; pick Lead Friendly if you want the price and the CRM handoff.

“Not described” means the pages we opened do not mention it, not that the product cannot do it. Lead Friendly's side is checked against our own product and our integrations page.
| Capability | Lead Friendly | TorQi |
|---|---|---|
What the product fundamentally is | The phone and follow-up layer on top of the DMS and CRM you keep: an AI agent answers every call with your store name and inventory, books the visit, and sends the lead to your CRM as ADF. Not a DMS, and no lender connection. | A fully managed AI receptionist for independent, buy-here-pay-here and sales-only lots and small groups (and for auto repair shops): TorQi builds, runs and tunes it, with no dashboard for you to configure. |
AI answering inbound calls 24/7 | YesAnswers 24/7 (sales, service and after-hours), qualifies, books test drives and transfers to your staff. Switch it on per agent and it also takes a caller’s trade-in down and, if they want, texts them a link to send photos; it never invents a value | YesAnswers after-hours, weekend and overflow calls; captures buyer intent, the vehicle and an appointment request, and routes hot calls to your team |
Trade-in details on the call | YesA per-agent switch for inbound calls, off until you turn it on: year, make, model, miles and condition, and with the caller’s yes a texted link for photos. It never invents a value | YesYear, make, model, trim, mileage, condition, payoff, title status and trade-or-sell intent, routed to your appraiser |
What the AI says about money | Never quotes a monthly payment, APR or out-the-door price; it gives a trade ballpark or a discount only if you switch that on and set the limits. Otherwise it books the visit or puts the caller through to your desk | Never approves credit or quotes a rate or payment; no final price unless you approve pricing rules |
Booking the appointment | YesBooks into your calendar on the call | PartialCaptures the appointment request and routes it; direct booking “can be scoped where supported” |
Spanish-speaking callers | YesEnglish and Spanish, switching mid-call | YesIf you enable it, configured and tested per lot |
Leads into your CRM | YesOnce you add your CRM’s lead email, each inbound call where the caller spoke and each website form lead is sent to it as ADF/XML, with the summary, the car of interest and any trade. Leads that came from your CRM or a marketplace are not sent back | PartialStarts with email or SMS summaries and no integration; a handoff to DealerCenter, Frazer, Wayne Reaves and others “can be scoped”, simple cases in setup, complex ones priced separately. ADF is not mentioned |
AI phone call to a new web lead | YesA website-form lead is called automatically inside legal calling hours when the shopper gave call consent; marketplace (ADF) leads are called by an automation you switch on and set to run automatically | Not described. “Revenue Recovery”, a paid add-on after go-live, works old leads, missed calls and no-shows from your own lists |
Text back after a missed call | PartialA text back to a caller who hung up or reached voicemail is set up for you and paused until your business verification is approved (with your do-not-call attestation and a texting number in place); it switches on then, and texts go out once carrier registration (10DLC) is approved | Calls are answered; a separate missed-call text is not described. Missed-call follow-up is part of the paid Revenue Recovery add-on |
Who builds and runs it | PartialThe one-time $500 setup: we load your inventory, wire your feeds and your lead sources, and build and tune the agent with you. After that you run it from your own dashboard | YesFully managed: discovery, scripts, testing, launch, monitoring, tuning and reports, all by TorQi |

No long-term contract to start.” Its pricing FAQ adds: “Terms depend on the plan and setup scope. Frequently asked questions
Is Lead Friendly a TorQi alternative?
Yes. Both put an AI on the phone for independent and buy-here-pay-here dealers, answer the calls the lot misses, capture the buyer and the trade, and never approve credit or quote a payment. The differences are price, who runs it, and how the lead reaches your CRM. TorQi is fully managed and starts at $1,500 a month plus a $2,000–$2,500 setup. Lead Friendly’s dealer plan is $349 a month ($279 a month on annual) plus a one-time $500 setup fee, with 1,800 AI voice minutes and 2,500 texts included, and once you add your CRM’s lead email it sends each inbound call where the caller spoke and each website form lead there as ADF.
How much does TorQi cost?
TorQi publishes starting prices on its dealer pricing page (read November 2026): AI Receptionist from $1,500 a month with a $2,000–$2,500 one-time setup, 1,200 minutes and $0.85 a minute over; Sales & Service Desk from $2,500–$3,500 a month with a $3,000–$4,000 setup; Multi-Rooftop from $4,500 a month with a $5,000–$9,000+ setup. It says most independent lots invest $1,500–$4,500 a month plus setup, and gives the exact figure after a discovery call. The Revenue Recovery add-on is priced separately.
Does TorQi work with DealerCenter or Frazer?
TorQi says it works alongside DealerCenter, Frazer, Wayne Reaves, AutoManager, VinSolutions, DealerSocket and spreadsheets. On day one that means email or SMS summaries; a handoff into your DMS or CRM can be scoped, with simple cases included in setup and complex ones priced separately. Its pages do not mention ADF. Lead Friendly emails each new lead to your CRM’s lead address as ADF/XML, the format dealer CRMs import; ask your CRM vendor for that address and confirm it takes ADF.
Which one is right for a small lot?
TorQi says plainly that it is built for lots with real phone volume and meaningful inventory, typically 50 or more vehicles for its trial, and not for very small lots. Lead Friendly has no inventory minimum and a lower monthly price, so a smaller lot can run it after hours and see what it catches. A larger lot that wants someone else to build, watch and tune the agent every week is TorQi’s stated fit.
Does TorQi publish results from dealers?
Not yet. Its dealer page shows placeholders and says real dealer numbers will replace them as the first trials run. That is an honest way to say it, and it means you should ask for recordings of real calls before you commit, from TorQi and from us.
Measure first: how fast does your store answer a new lead?

Switching from TorQi
- Start on Lead Friendly for Dealers. The one-time $500 setup is the work: we load your inventory, wire your feeds and your lead sources, and build and tune the agent with you.
- Ask your CRM for its lead email address and put it in Lead Friendly, so each inbound call where the caller spoke and each website form lead is sent there as ADF.
- Forward the store’s number to the agent after hours first. If you are on a TorQi trial or plan, check its terms for any initial commitment before you move the line.
Rather hear it first? Talk to the agent in your browser, no signup and no phone number.
For car dealers
Lead Friendly answers the calls your store misses, on top of the DMS and CRM you already run.
Call it yourself before you change anything
We build the agent from your website and give you a test number. Call it from your own phone and ask about a car on your lot. Nothing changes on your main line until you say so. Lead Friendly for Dealers is $349 a month on the monthly plan, with no contract.
