Upfirst bills calls and Lead Friendly bills minutes, so the Lead Friendly column converts calls at 3 minutes each. Longer calls raise the Lead Friendly figure and leave Upfirst’s unchanged. Your calls may run shorter or longer; use the missed-call calculator or our cost guide to test your own numbers. Phone numbers, taxes and add-ons are not included.

  • • You take enough calls that included minutes beat per-call overage
  • • You run an agency and want sub-accounts on a public plan

  • • You need a language outside our list (35+ offered)
  • • You want the lowest entry price at $24.95
  • • You want spam and sub-15-second calls not counted
  • • You only need an answering agent, not a CRM

Frequently asked questions

Is Upfirst cheaper than Lead Friendly?

It depends on how long your calls run. Upfirst charges per call, so long calls cost no more than short ones; Lead Friendly charges for included minutes, so short calls cost less. The table uses 3 minutes a call: the two are close at 100 calls, and Lead Friendly comes out lower at 200 and 500. If your calls average 8 or 10 minutes, Upfirst’s per-call model can win.

Does Upfirst have a CRM?

Its pricing page lists Zapier on every plan and says custom actions can connect to any CRM with an API, without saying which plans include them. Lead Friendly includes the CRM, so call outcomes, texts and appointments land on one contact record.

Which has more languages?

Upfirst lists 35+ on every plan; Lead Friendly offers 17. If you need a language outside Lead Friendly’s list, Upfirst is the better fit.

When should I choose Upfirst?

Choose Upfirst if you have long calls, a low volume where $24.95 is enough, a need for languages beyond ours, or you only want an answering agent without a CRM.

When should I choose Lead Friendly?

Choose Lead Friendly if you want the CRM, texting and web-lead callbacks in the same subscription, your calls are short, or you take enough calls that included minutes are cheaper than per-call fees.
